As part of the Ministry of Interior’s plan to implement the Voluntary Return Program, and in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), other international organizations, and the concerned embassies, a flight was organized on Tuesday morning through Mitiga International Airport to repatriate 156 migrants of Chadian nationality. They had been gathered in the city of Bani Walid and transported to Mitiga Airport for their return to their home country.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirms its continued implementation of these operations in accordance with the applicable legal procedures, regulations, and legislation, and in a manner consistent with the state’s obligations toward
national laws and relevant international standards, in cooperation with international partners in this field.
